Staying low tech can be a good thing!

Sometimes it pays to go low tech when promoting your MLM opportunity.
Everything does not have to revolve around the world of internet 2.0 and of the slick high tech methods that man attempt but few execute well.  This article is about going back to basics with regard to promoting your business.  These actions are more or less complementary to your online presence because they ultimately drive people to you lead capture page as you want to make sure that they have some degree of interests before you make that first call.

The first method is the utilization of the infamous Drop Cards.  These realistic bills look just like real money, but upon further inspection,  are simply a piece of paper that has been folded in half to resemble a bill, when open
have a call to action that with a printed message like, “Fire your boss, by
going to www.xxx.com”.  The whole point of the drop cards is to get someone to pick up the card and and check out your lead capture page.  You don’t want to tell them your life story, you just want to drive their eyes to your web site.  I find that the $100 drop card is the best investment as most people can not resist picking up these cards, just to see if it is real or not.  The
worse they can do is throw the card back on the ground and it become viral,
because it is likely to be picked up someone else.  You have instant recycled
marketing.  Drop cards are best left in airports, shopping malls, near atms,
and in book stores, placed strategically in key books and magazine.  Some of the books that you may consider placing the cards in books like, Rich Dad Poor Dad, The Secret, and The Four Hour Work Week.

The second method is the toll booth give away.  If you live in an
environment that has toll booths, the next time you are going through to pay
your toll, give the attendant enough for your toll and the car behind you.
When you give the attendant a double payment, give the attendant one of your company’s overview CDs to give to the car behind you.  Or if your company does not have its own branded CD Bob Proctor, who is an authority on home base business, makes a generic product that works very well.  You can imagine the interest that is raised by this act.

The third and final strategy is to by used business books, from Amazon, or
the Half Priced Book stores, or any other place you can get your arms around discount books you buy the books, like Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and stamp the book with a rubber stamp that you can get from Kinkos,or some other provider that reads, “For opportunities in (name your city) contact Grady Burrows at www.xxx.com.  You stamp the book only three to four times, beginning, middle, end and then donate these books to your library.  You have just created an extremely targeted method for getting your opportunity in front of new folks without spending  a lot of money.
